I found an updated clip for Fun with wombats and ice cream for Souther 2025.

Malik zips along a special, acrobatic adventure en route to Sammy's treehouse. Hopefully his ice cream doesn't melt along the way.

I had a spot for this video in 'Human Footprint' on PBS Terra explains 'How Supermarkets Rewired The Planet', but reached a natural conclusion before I could use it.

I'm opening my lecture by talking about aquatic life zones, and this video shows all the pelagic ones.

This didn't fit the theme for Local news remembers Mount St. Helens eruption 45 years later.

I found an actual trailer to use in 'Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story' leads nominees for Outstanding Nature Documentary at the News & Doc Emmy Awards.

...but I decided to post 'Disney's Biggest Lie' about lemmings for a late Norther instead.

I shared and linked to videos I show my students in The Wall Street Journal explains 'Why America’s Groundwater Is Disappearing'. I don't have one about groundwater contamination, so I might show this one, too.

I closed PBS Terra explains 'The AMOC Might Be WAY More Unstable Than We Thought...Here's Why' with the following program note.

PBS Terra's previous video is the latest in a series that began with PBS examines the risks from a major earthquake in the Pacific Northwest and continued with PBS Terra explains 'Here's EXACTLY What to Do When the Next Megaquake Hits: Cascadia Subduction Zone' and PBS Terra asks 'What's the ONE THING You Can Do To Survive a Tsunami?' I will almost certainly cover that in a future entry, but I already have my own series of holiday and year-end retrospective posts planned through the end of the year, beginning with a celebration of the Winter Solstice/Yule. Stay tuned.

Here's the video.

I left two comments on this video.

It's literally a fundamental question, as fundament means buttocks or anus in addition to the foundation or basis of something.

It took me five days to realize that you uploaded this on World Toilet Day. To be fair, it seems that no one else noticed that, either, so I think I'll be the first to wish Kallie, the rest of the Eons crew, and the viewers a belated happy World Toilet Day!

Let's see if I remember to share this at Crazy Eddie's Motie News on World Toilet Day next year.

I left this comment: "This was the perfect video to upload on World Television Day, as it shows the significance of television to society. Since no one else has mentioned it, a belated happy World Television Day to Erica/Dr. B., all of the Storied crew, and viewers!"

I already had a video that covered this topic in PBS Eons on real paleo diets for National Fossil Day on World Food Day, but it did have good advice against eating carnivores.

I was going to write a post around this video, but found another video I liked better for The BBC World Service examines 'How the US election could change our climate' plus MSNBC on Project 2025 and climate. I might still blog about it.

...but I had enough time to show the one I planned to.

I mentioned this video in PBS Eons explains 'How Plate Tectonics Transformed Los Angeles' but had already embedded it in Kunstler, K-Dog, and I discuss prehistoric mammals for Darwin Day...
