From For Father's Day, Storied asks 'Why Do Baby Names Fall Out of Fashion?'

I was toying with writing a post featuring this video, but decided to go with my original idea, 'Star Wars' political signs for Star Wars Day 2024, instead.

I remembered to embed a video that did a better job in 'Succession' leads drama series nominees, followed by 'The Last of Us' and 'The White Lotus'.

A excerpt from The 'Mother of Father's Day' plus 2022 was a great year for 'Star Wars' names.

The three names from the Star Wars franchise I featured two years ago all had their best years ever in 2022, beginning with Kylo.


Kylo had an even better 2022 than 2020, reaching a new peak in popularity. As the graphic from the Social Security Administration above states: "For 2022, the number of births with name Kylo is 707, which represents 0.038 percent of total male births in 2022. The year when the name Kylo was most popular is also 2022.

I found a livelier video for 'The Mehdi Hasan Show' examines the politics of ‘Andor’ for Revenge of the Sixth.

At his retirement party last month, one of my colleagues asked me if I was going anywhere during break. I told him "nowhere real." When he asked me to explain, I explained "I'm planning on playing a Star Wars video game (Star Wars: The Old Republic) and visiting the worlds of Star Wars."  That's exactly what I did. My break is now over and I'm returning to reality tomorrow.

I decided against using the following video in Weekend Update compares this week's headlines to 'Mad Max' on last night's 'SNL'. I was able to make my point with the cold open instead. It's still funny.
