Postponed video for World Toilet Day
Nov. 24th, 2024 04:34 pmI left two comments on this video.
It's literally a fundamental question, as fundament means buttocks or anus in addition to the foundation or basis of something.
It took me five days to realize that you uploaded this on World Toilet Day. To be fair, it seems that no one else noticed that, either, so I think I'll be the first to wish Kallie, the rest of the Eons crew, and the viewers a belated happy World Toilet Day!
Let's see if I remember to share this at Crazy Eddie's Motie News on World Toilet Day next year.
Postponed video for Darwin Day post
Feb. 12th, 2024 09:47 amI thought about using this video in 'Darwin Missed An Example of Evolution Right Under His Nose' by PBS Eons on Darwin Day, but decided to conserve my resources.
I found other videos I liked better for TierZoo, winner of the Streamy Award for Learning and Education, on giraffes and pronghorns.
Postponed video for World Mosquito Day
Aug. 20th, 2023 10:30 amI decided I didn't need this video for PBS Eons on mosquito evolution for World Mosquito Day. Maybe next year.
Postponed video about elephants
Jul. 25th, 2023 02:33 pmI wrote "PBS Terra has also uploaded a video about the effect of hunting on elephant evolution. Stay tuned to see if I write about it" at the end of Whales and fish, two stories I tell my students.
I considered the following video for PBS Digital's 'Be Smart' explains 'The Surprising Origins of Thanksgiving Foods', but decided on one for National Maize Day instead. Maybe next year.
As I tell my students, if being smaller, weaker, slower, or dumber makes an organism more likely to survive and reproduce, then that's what it will become.
Apparently not.
