neonvincent: From an icon made by the artists themselves (Bang)
I made this image for 'Rebel Ridge' leads Gold Derby odds to win Outstanding Television Movie at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, but decided my second attempt was more to my liking.

I cut this out of 'Jeopardy!' leads game show nominees at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards because it was for a talent competition show and the category was for variety, not reality. I might use it if I write about variety specials.

Now my final response, which is April's second most read tweet so far.

I was being charitable. From Wikipedia:

After graduating from high school in 1982, Palin enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.[26] Shortly after arriving in Hawaii, Palin transferred to Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu for a semester in the fall of 1982. She returned to the mainland, enrolling at North Idaho College, a community college in Coeur d'Alene, for the spring and fall semesters of 1983.[27] She transferred and enrolled at the University of Idaho in Moscow for an academic year starting in August 1984. Beginning in the fall of 1985, she attended Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska. Palin returned to the University of Idaho in January 1986 and received her bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism in May 1987.

More like six attempts at five different colleges.

When I first heard the term "autogolpe" or self-#coup early last month, #DonaldTrump's attempt to overturn the election results was listed at the Wikipedia entry. A week later, it was edited out. It's now back as an example.

I said I'd post some saved links today. Are they from November 2015? Hardly. They are from this month.

Links for the Emmy Awards and my various projects in the history of science fiction behind the cut. )
