This video had too many errors to include in 'Could Puerto Rico Become the 51st State of the U.S.?' and chupacabras for Piña Colada Day.
Postponed video for July 4th post
Jul. 4th, 2024 02:33 pmWatching the first video in Drink to the 4th of July with Defunctland on Disney's America and 'The Stars and Stripes Forever' reminded me of this video. Maybe next year.
I liked the equivalent video from CBS Detroit for Wombats and pizza for Souther on Detroit-style Pizza Day and Pink Day.
I decided against using this video...
Jun. 18th, 2024 10:00 am...in 'The debate over the Anthropocene, explained' by Vox and SciShow because that post was already long enough and this video was even slower and more technical.
King Charles in Portsmouth
Jun. 6th, 2024 05:05 pmI wrote "King Charles gave a longer address yesterday, but it was at Portsmouth, not Normandy, so I'm sharing it at my Dreamwidth later" in Biden, Macron, Trudeau, and King Charles observe the 80th anniversary of D-Day, so I'm following through by sharing it here.
I was toying with writing a post featuring this video, but decided to go with my original idea, 'Star Wars' political signs for Star Wars Day 2024, instead.
I had the perfect icon for this video...
Apr. 27th, 2024 10:07 am...but I deleted it and replaced it with Spider Jerusalem, so Uncle V will have to do.
It's also Titanic Remembrance Day
Apr. 15th, 2024 08:38 amIf I ever get tired of observing Tax Day at Crazy Eddie's Motie News, I can always observe Titanic Remembrance Day.
Rejected video for scifi anxieties post
Apr. 11th, 2024 09:59 pmI decided this wasn't the best video for today's post, so I used PBS Voices explores 'The Evolution of Science Fiction' for Throwback Thursday instead.
Discarded video for Doomsday Clock entry
Jan. 26th, 2024 12:07 pmI found a good stopping point for Bill Nye joins the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists as the Doomsday Clock remains at 90 seconds to midnight before I could use this video.
Rome video left out of SNL post
Nov. 19th, 2023 01:17 pmI just didn't have room for this video in People want pandas, so 'SNL' opens with a panda at Biden's press conference, so I'm sharing it here.
I couldn't use this image for 'IS THAT BLACK ENOUGH FOR YOU?!?' likely favorite to win Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary after 'Roadrunner' removed because it lists 'Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain' which is no longer listed among News & Documentary Emmy nominees.

I used a Factual America video that began with this trailer in 'Captive Audience: A Real American Horror Story' earned two nominations at the 2023 News & Documentary Emmy Awards instead.
