I have hot water again

After I came home last night, the hot water pipe thawed out.  My wife and I kept the water flowing all night long to avoid a repeat.  We'll do it again tonight, despite it keeping my wife up last night.

My husband found that draping a washcloth over the faucet so it catches the water reduces the sound by a lot, if that’s the issue.
