A complete history of the Prehistoric Forest Amusement Park, located in the Irish Hills region of Michigan. This park is the epitome of the classic roadside attraction, with its attention-grabbing mountain & waterfall, and the giant dinosaurs of uncertain provenance. Closed at the turn of the century, this park has sat abandoned for twenty years, attracting vandals as well as urban explorers.
The opening and closing dates are wrong, as the park opened in 1959 and closed in 2002 (I know, I was there for the final tour), but otherwise it's pretty good.
