neonvincentThis is the last post I will make sharing the raw data about the top posts of past months, as I have posted summaries of all the rest at Crazy Eddie's Motie News, ending with Best August so far and other monthly meta. I will continue to post the monthly summaries of future months here, which means the July summary should appear here on or after August 2nd. I plan on resuming my monthly summary posts at Crazy Eddie's Motie News in October, where they will be a by-product of a strategy to increase page views that I suspended last October but will probably need to revive in the fall.
Enough meta. Here are the introduction, which got to the first draft stage, and the data.
September 2016 saw 18,069 page views and 66 comments for 30 posts over 30 days. Those stats translate into 602.3 page views per day and per post and 2.2 comments per post and per day. The total, per day, and per post page view numbers were all records for September, as were the comments per post. In addition, the blog passed 700,000 page views early in the month. Since the blog passed 500,000 page views during September of last year, it's on pace for 200,000 page views per year.

It returned with 166 page views, 277 according to the raw counter, on 9/16/16 at 8 PM. It fell out at 8 PM on 9/17/16 with 165 page views, 282 according to the raw counter, then reappeared on 9/19/16 at 8 AM with 164 age views, 289 according to the raw counter. It finally dropped out on 9/21/16 at 8 PM, when it had 163 page views, 302 according to the raw counter, but 142 or less during September. It got its page views from being shared at the science fiction groups and communities on Facebook and Google+.
No most pinned or liked on Pinterest, as no post was saved or liked more than once this month.
