I was a lot chattier last month.
My comments on An update on the WGA strike after one month plus news about SAG-AFTRA and DGA.
Thanks to Steve in Manhattan for linking to me in Mike’s Blog Round-Up at Crooks and Liars and welcome to all of you who came here from that link! Also, welcome to all my Singaporean, Dutch, Israeli, Ukrainian, and other international readers. I appreciate all of you, especially my Singaporean readers, who have more than 17,000 page views this week, ten times as many as my American readers! Wow!

Give up, "jack." Blogger has identified you as a spammer and won't publish your comments and I won't approve them. Even if one does escape the spam filter, I'll just delete it. Flattery will get you nowhere.
I'm repeating what I told "jack": "I'm letting your comment stay, as the products you're advertising look legit and on-topic for this entry, but I'm wondering how long it will take Blogger to make your comment disappear." I gave "jack" one week. It took only 3 days for Blogger to throw his spam comment into the spam filter. Let's see how it takes for the same thing to happen to you. If (when) that happens, I'm not approving your comment; it will stay in the spam filter.
Nine days later, Blogger threw your comment into the spam filter, where it will stay.
I'm repeating what I told "jack" and "My Blog": I'm letting your comment stay, as the product you're advertising looks legit and on-topic for this entry, but I'm wondering how long it will take Blogger to make your comment disappear. I gave "jack" one week. It took only 3 days for Blogger to throw his spam comment into the spam filter. Let's see how it takes for the same thing to happen to you and "My Blog." If (when) that happens, I'm not approving your comment; it will stay in the spam filter.
Also, I don't think you spammers would leave your spam here if you saw what I see; no one besides you and me is still reading this entry. Go ahead and waste your time turning the comments to this post into a spam trap based on the keyword "tech" for your SEO.
Less than a week later, Blogger threw your comment into the spam filter, as I predicted. As I promised, it will stay there.
My comment on Tides are changing for World Oceans Day 2023.
Hi, Steve, and welcome to Crazy Eddie's Motie News! Thanks for all the links to my blog at Crooks and Liars and keep up the good work!
This is a great comment that illustrates the problems brick-and-mortar stores are facing and how fast some retail titans can decline, but I think you meant to leave it at Company Man asks 'The Decline of Borders...What Happened?' A tale of the Retail Apocalypse for Flashback Friday. I invite you to leave it there. Do you have anything environmental to say here?
My comment on Celebrating 30 years of 'Jurassic Park'.
Hey, Narb, welcome back! It's always a good day to see you comment here!
I'm not surprised in the least, although it's been updated to a "Jurassic World" ride. When I wrote "I might have more to write about the 30th anniversary of 'Jurassic Park,'" I was thinking about looking at the event from the perspective of the theme parks. Now I'm wondering if the nearest movie theater to Universal Studios Orlando is showing "Jurassic Park," too.
Blogger got a little overzealous, marked your comment as spam, then hid it from the public. Of course it's not spam, so I approved it.
My comments on Global Wind Day with 'Windpower' by Thomas Dolby.
I agree. I found the depth of scholarship on the history of wind power outside of sailing to be impressive. It's information I can use in my lectures.
Thanks for including this entry in Link round-up for 18 June 2023 and welcome to all of your readers who came here from that link. Thanks for stopping by!
My comment on World Sea Turtle Day, Protecting and Celebrating These Majestic Creatures.
2:25 "Although the exact origin of World Sea Turtle Day is unclear" — according to National Day Calendar: "In the year 2000, turtle conservation organizations came together to create World Sea Turtle Day. June 16th was chosen to honor the birthday of Dr. Archie Carr, a renowned sea turtle conservationist. Dr. Carr also founded the Sea Turtle Conservancy in Gainesville, Florida."
My comment on HERE COMES SOME MORE "PARTY OF THE WORKING CLASS" BULLSHIT.
"But they're still corporatists at heart -- if "heart" is the right word." I'd say "at their core" with the last word spelled "corps."
My comment on Beautiful Mind Boxes?
"One thing is certain: Donald Trump will never win an Oscar."
He will also never win an Emmy, despite multiple nominations for "The Apprentice." The closest he came was winning "Emmy Idol" for singing the theme to "Green Acres" with Megan Mullally.
My comment on By reader request, it's World Crocodile Day!

My comment on Happy National Sunglasses Day!
Here's to hoping you get good insurance that will pay for them.
My comment on Postponed video for National Paul Bunyan Day.
My first thought was "I like that idea!" My second was "Is this original?" Google search says it's not. Still, the closest I've seen to Hollywood doing it is Homer as Paul Bunyan fighting Rodan in "The Simpsons," so it's definitely worth doing.
My comment on LIBERALS LOST THREE MAJOR FIGHTS IN TWO DAYS, BUT WE'RE STILL ALL-POWERFUL.
Beat me to it, so I'll just add that every Republican accusation is a confession, although not vice-versa; some of their confessions are meant as bragging and taunts (yeah, and what are you going to do about it?)
