My comment on The Battle for Florida: DeSantis Declares War On the Mouse.
See, you wrote a blog post on the topic and it got noticed, just like I tweeted you should. You beat my post on the subject by three days and had more original content, too.
My response to "Random Question of the Week: What's the WORST Star Wars Movie?" at Issues with Disney+, New Lightyear Trailer and Obi-Wan at Star Wars Celebration!
Since I think none of the movies are bad, I'll cheat by saying The Star Wars Holiday Special. Even that had redeeming features — the introductions of Life Day, the Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk, and Boba Fett. Other than that, it became a good example of what not to do in Star Wars!
My comment on Environmental Racism: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO).
That's Dr. Robert Bullard talking to W. Kamau Bell at 03:07. I took my class to a talk of his in 2008 and then I spoke to him afterwards. This is the first time I've seen someone I know personally on Last Week Tonight.
My comment on May The 4th Be With You (ft. Star of Indiana 1986).
Thank you for providing some drum corps Star Wars content on Star Wars Day. I love my 1978 North Star, but I wanted to hear another corps take on the material today.
My comment on Maria: Garfield Cadets 1984 (ft. Tony in West Side Story).
So this was the mashup between the "original" and the drum corps version with G bugles you mentioned in response to my comment on the Freddy Mercury/Carolina Crown video!
My comment on Would you like to see a video about the creepiest fast food mascots? Well, it's coming! Tell us what you want to see?
Trivia about Jack In The Box: Purina owned it from 1968 to 1985. My fellow employees and I joked that we worked for Purina People Chow. Our manager told us to never say that in front of the customers.
My comment on Reason and Religion at the End of the Industrial Age with John Michael Greer.
I'd say Greer's view of history has more to do with Spengler than Kant and I've read more from him about Heidegger than any other conventional philosopher and more from him about Dion Fortune and Eliphas Lévi than Heidegger.
My comment on Horizon 2.
Thank you for identifying it. I made the mistake of watching that before I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, so I didn't get the references. Only later on did I realize that RahXephon was a tribute to Evangelion that was more straightforward.
My comment on "PRO-LIFE" REPUBLICANS WOULD BE FINE IF INNOCENT SUPREME COURT CLERKS DIED.
As I wrote seven years ago, "Godwin's Law does not apply when one is talking about actual fascists."

My comment on Doctor Strange 2 Box Office - 2nd Weekend Drop 68%.
My wife and I watched "The Lost City" on Paramount+ and really enjoyed it. It reminded us a lot of "Romancing the Stone," but had enough original elements that it was familiar, yet still fresh. It's close enough to $100 million that I hope the movie reaches it before leaving theaters.
My comment on Top 10 Creepiest Fast Food Mascots.
Seeing the Dairy Queen Lips for the first time makes me wonder if they ever sang "Science Fiction, Double Feature," the opening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
My comment on [KPOP IN PUBLIC | ONE TAKE] IVE (???) - LOVE DIVE Dance Cover ???? | Koreos.
The Mark Taper Forum made a great backdrop for this video!
My comment on UNPOPULARISM ON STEROIDS: THE ABORTION IDEA EVERYONE HATES ISN'T HURTING THE GOVERNOR ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
I second your emotion. As I first wrote eleven years ago, "America is quite clear about its screwed up priorities. My experience has convinced me that the surest way to get Americans to (re)act is to mess with their entertainment."

My comment on Greenfield Bee Fest held Friday, on World Bee Day.
Happy World Bee Day!
My comment on Was 2019 the BEST year in DCI HISTORY?
"Can't wait for 2021!" and "How will 2021 compare?" The 2021 season already happened and there are no stats because it was all exhibitions. You must mean 2022, which will have competitions for the first time in three years and stats to compare with 2019.
My comment on Whispers of the Fall.
I found the topics tempting and my timing was right, but decided composing a comment was too much work, so I played Star Wars: The Old Republic instead. It was Star Wars Day, after all.
My comment on May 2022 Open Post.
You pointed out four years ago that Elon Musk's fortune and the success of his companies were both built on government subsidies. American liberals may not have liked Musk for being a billionaire, but they generally quietly ignored what you pointed out as long as they thought he was on their side. Now that he is trying to buy Twitter, potentially ruining their venue for activism and entertainment, then announced that he wasn't on their side, they are all over that fact. They've also called into question the purported technological achievements of his companies and realized a lot of their value springs from faith in Musk himself. His companies' stock prices are now collapsing, which was one of the "black swan" events Lathechuck postulated in the comments four years ago. I don't suppose you are surprised by any of this, are you?
(He wasn't. In fact, he joked that he was bored by it.)
My comments on Carbon Dioxide Levels hit new record high causing climate change.
I was looking for Jeff Berardelli to deliver this news and here he is at WFLA instead of CBS News. Just seeing him on this channel was enough to get me to subscribe to its YouTube channel. Hi, Jeff, from one of your fans!
But he does have an IMDB page, which makes him notable, so he's eligible for a Wikipedia page. So, is anyone with a Wikipedia account going to step up and create one for him?
My comment on Arroyo HS - Army of the Nile - 2022 Temple City Parade.
Nice high toss and smooth catch into the salute! Congratulations!
My comment on El Rancho HS - National Fencibles - 2022 Temple City Parade.
Look at the videos of the band for 2021. They've performed with a marching bass guitar all school year.
My comment on Blast To The Past | Synchronic Dance Team.
Came here after seeing Caty, Destine, and Jae interviewed by FiveThirtyEight. Liked and subscribed!
My comment on MAYBE THE COMMENTARIAT SHOULD TRY LEARNING SOME BASIC FACTS.
I guess the Potomac and Ohio rivers no longer count as natural borders, like they did in the 19th Century.
My comment on Miyazaki's Lupin.
I watched "Princess Mononoke" before watching "Castle of Cagliostro," so I noticed that the way Lupin fell when he was shot was exactly the way the Forest Spirit fell when Lady Eboshi shot it. That's just one example of how Miyazaki reused something he did when he animated Lupin III.
Speaking of reuse, the creators of Cowboy Bebop appeared to Spike, Jet, and Faye on Lupin, Jigen, and Fujiko. They even paid homage to Lupin hiding fireworks in his bishop disguise in the way Pierrot Le Fou hid his weapons inside his suit jacket.
My comment on Does Cosmic Rewind REALLY Belong at EPCOT?
Her writers gave it to her as a 60th birthday present on her show. She was not positively impressed with it, so I don't know if she kept it. Watch.
