I was moderately busy on No More Mr. Nice Blog last month.
My comment on HIGH ON THEIR OWN SUPPLY.
When I first read "cone of silence," I thought "But Scott Pruitt wasn't part of the conversation. He's the one with the soundproof room. Besides, he'd been out of the administration for a couple of years when Ginni Thomas wrote this." Still, it's an image that doesn't make one take the conversation seriously.
As for Mrs. Thomas sincerely believing the right-wing fantasy, I'm not the least bit surprised. Paul Krugman noticed it ten years ago when Mitt Romney repeated the "Lucky Ducky" meme about people who earn too little to pay income taxes, calling it "When The Inner Party Believes The Prolefeed," a "1984" reference. That blog entry is behind a paywall now, but I quoted the relevant passage at my blog, so you can read it for free.

I observed there that "this is what a faction of the 'Inner Party' wanted to believe all along, and now that they've taken over, they're now passing it out as prolefeed." I think that this is even more true now.
My comment on TODAY I LEARNED THAT TRUMP HANDLED DOCUMENTS JUST FINE BECAUSE COMMIES RUN THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES.
I came here to make a similar observation, except to call their game Telegram, after one of their favorite messaging apps.
My comments on HOW'S THAT UNPOPULARISM WORKING OUT FOR YA, FLEECE VEST BOY?
Ironically, honeypot (or just porn spambot) accounts have upvoted both of your comments. In fact, every comment on this post has an upvote from a different account with a female name and a kissing lips emoji. That makes them easier to spot. So, what do we do, block them as we see them?
And another one of them upvoted my previous comment within a minute of my posting it! We are being watched!
That wasn't James Watt. It was Ronald Reagan who infamously said "Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do."

Watt said many disagreeable things about religion and the environment, but not that.
As for increasing White turnout leading to GOP victory, that was something that Sean Trende described as the "Missing White [Voters]" hypothesis in 2012. If Republicans appealed more to White, working-class "unlikely voters," they could win. Trump's campaign capitalized on that as part of its "inside straight" win in 2016 and why they had even more voters than 2016 in 2020 as part of a seven million vote margin loss. I'm not surprised that Youngkin employed that strategy.
