Big Data is watching us

I searched for "impossible meat" and "beyond meat" yesterday to prepare for responding to a question on Twitter about where to find them. Today, I'm getting ads for the brand Impossible Meat on YouTube. I shouldn't be surprised; Alphabet owns both Google and YouTube and earns its money from ads.  Still, it's a little unnerving to be reminded that part of the future from "Minority Report" has been with us for a decade.
