Yes, it is. Also, hi! Welcome to my journal. I really enjoyed reading what you wrote about the essential component of the Joker, that he has to be funny, even if he is gruesome about it. It reminds me of a line from "Gotham." "You can't be Jerome, you're boring. Jerome was never boring." Speaking of which, Jerome's brother, who is supposed to be the real Joker, isn't funny, just scary, although he has one other character trait of the character, his artistic pretensions. That's something I rank right up with The Penguin's political ambitions, something that appeared in the 1960s TV show and became part of the modern conception of the character.
