Last one from the JMSDF Color Guard
Mar. 30th, 2018 12:57 amHere is the last video of the Japanese Navy's color guard. On the one hand, their uniforms changed to "dress whites," making them unsuitable as examples of what I wanted in uniforms 40 years ago. On the other hand, this is the unit's best performance from 2009. The first number is still "Thunderbirds are Go!" The second is a medley of "There's No Business Like Show Business" and "That's Entertainment" instead of the march in the previous video. It also features a more complex drill and flagwork than any of the previous videos (Spins! Hey, we've reached the mid 70s!). They're at least still a model for style and execution.
That's it for this iteration. I think there's another video from 2012. I'll post that some other time. I have to change the subject.
