Katy Perry has a message to go along with her costumes and music

I'll get around to resuming the series about my performances with the UCLA Band later, possibly as early as tomorrow. Today, I'm posting the video to Katy Perry's “Chained to the Rhythm,” which earned a nomination from the Costume Designers Guild.

Of all the nominees, it's my favorite. It's about what James Howard Kunstler calls "the consensus trance" keeping Americans from seeing reality. It's also a catchy tune. In fact, it may become the new theme song for my other blog.
