I decided this was too gross for 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' for First Contact Day, a holiday special and I found a video I liked better, so I'm inflicting it on you.

I decided to use an image I created myself for 'Barbie,' 'Poor Things,' 'Doctor Who,' and 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' among Hugo nominees for dramatic presentations.

...but I miss the Dragonfly.

I assembled this image for 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3' leads Best Superhero Film nominees at the Saturn Awards.

I wrote "I've been waiting all century to hear the music from Princess Mononoke on a football field" in Studio Ghibli film music show. My first opportunity was in 2004, but only saw it yesterday. It's probably because it was uploaded in 2016, after I had stopped looking for the show on YouTube.  Watching the show in November 8th's post made me search for it again.

A excerpt from The 'Mother of Father's Day' plus 2022 was a great year for 'Star Wars' names.

The three names from the Star Wars franchise I featured two years ago all had their best years ever in 2022, beginning with Kylo.


Kylo had an even better 2022 than 2020, reaching a new peak in popularity. As the graphic from the Social Security Administration above states: "For 2022, the number of births with name Kylo is 707, which represents 0.038 percent of total male births in 2022. The year when the name Kylo was most popular is also 2022.
