My comments on WeightWatchers files for bankruptcy, a tale of the Retail Apocalypse (and Ozempic).
Hi, Paul, and welcome back for your first comment this year, both blogging and calendar! I'm not surprised the pandemic affected your WeightWatchers participation. I've never been been a WeightWatchers member — my diabetes and its treatments would likely have interfered with it and partially replaced it — but I cancelled my Planet Fitness membership because of the pandemic, so I can relate. During the regular school year, I can get 10,000 steps just from teaching three classes in a day, so that at least partially satisfies my exercise requirements, but I'm no longer in front of students that much, so I may have to look for other ways to get physical activity. Two hours a day of exercise? That would be a lot of housework for me, although my wife would appreciate it.
Welcome to Crazy Eddie's Motie News! HAHAHA! I'm glad the United Kingdom didn't abandon the pound for the Euro just so you could make this joke!
My comment on Drink to Phantom Regiment playing Russian Easter Overture for a drum corps Easter weekend.

My comments on Are Dire Wolves going to become OP again?
I spent five minutes scrolling through the comments to see if someone else had noticed this. Congratulations, you did, so we can both say, "We see what you did there."
Yes, he did, so we can say, "We see what you did there." These are Game of Thrones dire wolves and George R.R. Martin is one of the authors on Colossal Biosciences paper.
Until this development, I had never noticed that Game of Thrones has GMO in the correct order — GaMe Of Thrones!
My comment on Madu | Official Trailer | Disney+.
No Oscar nomination, but would you settle for two News & Documentary Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary and Outstanding Direction Documentary? It's still an E in EGOT! That written, congratulations to the creators of this fine documentary!
My comment on Broken Peach - I'm So Excited.
Me, too. I am thinking about traveling to the total eclipse in Spain in 2026. Too bad the path of totality just misses Vigo. I can imagine Broken Peach having an eclipse concert where they sing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" when the Moon covers the Sun, but it won't work out for them to perform in their home town. Maybe they should do it in A Coruña, which is in the path of totality.
My comment on 'Apollo 13: Survival' leads nominees for Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary at the News & Doc Emmy Awards for Wayback Wednesday.

Penny Dreadful.
