So, Arthur Fleck isn't the real Joker. Why am I not surprised? I'm only surprised that Todd Phillips borrowed a twist, intentional or not, from Gotham, where Jerome wasn't the real Joker, either, although that was spoiled by David Mazouz long before it became clear in the show itself. Now I have to watch Grace's reviews of Gotham to hear how she reacted to that development.
Speaking of Gotham, I get the feeling that "Penguin" is Oswald Cobblepot's story from that show linking the old mobster Gotham City to the new Arkham supervillain Gotham City told with a bigger budget, better actors, and stronger production values. Did Matt Reeves steal that storyline, or did Gotham take it from the comics first?
My comment on The BBC World Service examines 'How the US election could change our climate' plus MSNBC on Project 2025 and climate.

My comments on Monstrum on 'The Golden Age of Movie Monsters' for Halloween.
The first time you posted this, it went directly into the spam folder, where it will stay. It got published the second time only to be deleted. That's what happened to your first comment 2 weeks ago. Flattery will get you nowhere.
Your text is on-topic and well written, but your link advertises an off-topic product. That's disqualifying, so off to the bit bucket it goes!

My comment on PBS Eons on real paleo diets for National Fossil Day on World Food Day at Instagram.
Huh? I think that would have worked better on this SNL post, which had two skits with George Washington as a character. Besides, George Washington Carver, Mr. Peanut Butter, deserves more credit for advancements in agriculture.
