Here are three videos of the first corps in competition on Sunday, which made it the first corps I watched live and in person since 2008. The first is a news report (sort of) from a rehearsal early last month.
The second is a performer's eye view from a rehearsal the weekend of the show.
The uploader categorized this video as comedy instead of music or nonprofits. Considering what he said during the rehearsal, that's a fair assessment.
Finally, here is the corps' performance at DCA Championships last year.
I'm sure this year's corps will be as proficient as this at DCA Championships this year, too. Last Sunday, they were pretty rough. The transitions needed work, which the rehearsal video showed they were putting in, and their sound needed to be more consistent. They only seemed to be in tune when everyone was playing loud.
My expectation was that they might beat two of the junior corps, Raiders and 7th Regiment. That happened, but probably only because they were judged on DCA sheets. If they had been judged on DCI sheets, they probably would have come in last.
