He is a bad choice, but the plurality of American voters either didn't think so or didn't care. As for bother better and likely to replace him, better for whom? Better for the plutocrats? J.D. Vance. Better for the American people? The Democrats are no where near settling on a likely nominee and won't be until 2028.
